Guidelines

On your fist visit  to the studio, please arrive 15 minutes before the beginning of class & bring a photo ID (License or other valid ID REQUIRED).  There is NO pre-registration, just come in!

Late arrivals will not be allowed in to class – it is disruptive to the class and unsafe to practice without properly warming up.

Class will be cancelled if there are less than 3 people.
PREPARATION

  • Hydrate!  Drink water both before and after class.
  • Try to avoid having heavy meals 2-3 hours before class.
  • Wear lightweight, comfortable clothing.
    Women: thin leggings or shorts, sports bra and optional sleeveless top.
    Men: shorts or swim trunks and optional top.  Please no bikinis or underwear.
  • Arrive early for class as late arrivals may not be allowed.
  • Please be fresh and clean upon arrival and refrain from wearing perfume or cologne.
  • Shoes are not allowed in the studio and the practice is done barefoot.
  • Bring a 1/4″ yoga mat plus full length towel to cover the mat (rentals available!).
  • Please turn ringers off upon entry to the lobby.  Cell phones are not allowed in the studio and only text messaging is allowed in the locker rooms.

 

CLASS

  • Let the instructor know if you have any injuries in advance.
  • If you need to leave early, please alert the instructor and set up near the door.
  • Follow the instructed sequence and have a seat on your mat if you need a rest at any point.
  • Refrain from disruptive talking.
  • Enjoy the practice and don’t push yourself to a point of physical pain.  Be patient as it can take a few times to get into the flow.
